Free shipping with purchase above $500. We use live shipping rates from UPS. We do not use a flat rate shipping for most orders. Some vendors raise coral prices to cover the shipping expense in the event that only one item is ordered; yet there is no discount towards your order as you spend more. No tricks here, the corals are affordable and you're simply billed for shipping based on your location. It may seem more expensive up front because it is based on distance from us. In summary; the extra you may spend on shipping you really do save on corals.
