Light it Up

This LED strip deviates significantly from conventional options. The Blade LED strip optimizes color and efficiency, employing exclusive EdgeFieldTM Optics to ensure uniform PAR, seamless color mixing, exceptional 95-degree spread, and a natural shimmer effect within your aquarium. Its wide-angle design and modular cluster LEDs enable light to illuminate high points in the tank, creating a seamless illumination pattern with minimal shadowing. When combined with three or more Blade strips, the resulting effect is comparable to traditional T5 fixtures in terms of shadow elimination and even light distribution, while achieving greater efficiency and significantly lower costs. Additionally, the Blade LED strip can be integrated with existing light fixtures as supplemental or fill lighting to enhance light coverage and minimize hotspots.

The Coral Glow model incorporates a LED mix that optimizes spectral peaks within the lower range of blue and the upper range of UV, effectively showcasing coral fluorescence. It serves as an ideal supplemental source of “pop” that can be seamlessly integrated with a Blade Grow or utilized to enhance your existing lighting setup, resulting in an aquarium that truly radiates brilliance. Optimal performance is achieved when employing a ratio of 1:2 Glow to Grow, although a combination of one of each is equally acceptable in instances where reduced illumination is required.

Each AI Blade LED Strip comprises approximately one light cluster group per foot of fixture length. The meticulous arrangement of tight clusters and balanced diode placement contributes to the remarkable balance and shimmer that the Blade platform delivers. The Blade Coral Glow incorporates the following 24 diodes per cluster group:

The AI Blade is engineered to accommodate a diverse range of mounting options, ensuring compatibility with any system. Users can select from a Tank Rest, Elevated Tank Rest, Hanging Kit, Hybrid Mount, or HMS Adapter Arm to determine the optimal mounting solution for their specific setup.

• Tank Rest - Tank Rest included with all Blade lights up to 39 inches, this low-profile mount is designed to securely attach directly to your tank. It extends up to 4.5 inches on either side of the fixture, providing ample support and stability. 

• Mounting Clips - Inclusions: All Blade lights exceeding 39 inches are accompanied by these clips, which are compatible with the AI HMS Single Arm Mount and HMS Hanging Kit rails.
• Elevated Tank Rest - Elevated Tank Rest: A Sturdy and Attractive Mount for Both Rimmed and Rimless Tanks
• The Elevated Tank Rest enhances light distribution and facilitates accessible aquarium access compared to conventional Tank Rest designs.
• Hanging Kit: Crafted from high-quality brushed aluminum with a black finish, the Hanging Kit offers an aesthetically pleasing solution for suspending your Blade above your aquarium. Furthermore, it enables the mounting of three, four, or six light bars in parallel, thereby enhancing coverage and achieving a streamlined visual effect.
• Hybrid Mount: A mounting solution that seamlessly integrates Blade strips with one or more AquaIllumination Hydra or EcoTech Radion pendant fixtures, offering a comprehensive and versatile solution.
• Custom Mounting: Should none of the aforementioned mounting options meet your requirements, the Blade is equipped with M8 mounting threads at both ends, facilitating the effortless creation of a custom mount with boundless possibilities. 

Control via Multiple App Options

The Blade LED can be wirelessly controlled via iOS and Android devices through the MyAi or Mobius applications. These applications enable customization of spectrum intensity and scheduling for each light, or users can select from predefined templates. Both apps are available for free download on Google Play and the App Store. Each Blade LED also features onboard controls for cycling through spectrums.
